What did you want to be when you were younger? What did you end up pursuing/becoming?

When I was younger I wanted to be everything. At first, I believed I was magical. I was a princess and was destined to be queen. My kingdom would find me to be a gracious ruler. As I grew, I was a daughter that wanted to one day be a mother, a psychologist wannabe, an aspiring writer, a future female college student that just wanted to find respect in this world and a way to use her intelligence to benefit others.

I still want to be a mother and a writer and I’ll always be interested in psychology. And although I’ve lost a lot of the innocence with which comes the magic of childhood, I’m still just a princess waiting to become queen. I’m not fully me yet, but I’m getting there. Among those things, My experiences have shattered me and put me back together several times. I’ve become a survivor, an editor, a sorority girl, an internet addict and a hopeless romantic, as well as a slew of other things. I’m a work in progress…and I still want to be everything.
