I’m not even sure how many times I’ve watched this now… It’s adorable. I want this sort of relationship, this sort of happiness…and I’m definitely having this sort of save the date…. beyond wonderful. :)

The brightest electric blue I’ve ever seen on a car
…well, a pick-up truck. Make and model? I have no idea, but I’ll never forget that car because as soon as it went past us he jumped up, “That’s my dad!” You see, his dad didn’t live nearby and when he came to visit it was some sort of big deal. To me, he was sort of a big deal. Gorgeous….dreamy…perfect eyes, perfect, hair… the kind of guy Taylor Swift sings about. I’m sure he had his flaws… but I was blinded by his smile.
The moment of that day that sticks out the most was when, in the middle of a conversation between myself, him, and one of my friends he suddenly blurted out “You know, you’re kinda hot.” She had just been talking and I assumed it was towards her so I looked directly at him and he was looking back and I was suddenly so confused. I’d been talking to him for ages, he had a knack for making me laugh and he was always really nice to me… the most random conversations…I’d always wondered if he had any interest but I didn’t have the guts to ask… and which of us was he talking to? He was staring at me, like he was studying my reaction, and I wonder how much of the chaos inside me he could see. If my face wasn’t red a miracle was occurring. I was speechless, so much emotion was inside of me I probably could’ve cried if it wasn’t for the fact that I knew he was watching. Then, after a split second that seemed like an eternity, my friend said, “um, what?”
And he answered with, “I said it’s hot here.”
I looked at his face. This time I was studying him. Is it possible that I misheard him? No… that was definitely a smirk he was trying to hide. definitely.
…
I stood outside my college dorm as an electric blue truck went by. The exact color of his dad’s car, and I flashed back to that moment as if it had just happened.
